The Israel Museum in Jerusalem has appointed Denis Weil as its new director. Weil is currently the dean at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Design Institute in Chicago. He will take up this position from 1 March 2022, succeeding Ido Bruno, an Israeli designer and professor.

Before leading the Illinois Institute of Technology, Weil taught design at the Bezalel Institute of Design and Art in Jerusalem.
