LaMelo Ball joined the health and safety protocols about a week ago. However, conspiracy theorists on Twitter have reason to believe he is engaging in mob activities, in violation of NBA rules.
ROTY 2020-21 is having a lousy season in just his second year in the NBA. The Ball brothers have always had more of an interest in them because their father and LaMelo are living up to the hype. He’s had 30 points more games this season than Damian Lillard and with Miles Bridges growing, the Charlotte Hornets have been doing pretty well in the east.
However, several Hornets players joined the league’s health and safety regulations last week, and LaMelo Ball was among them. Charlotte has been trailing 2-5 since then and suffered a massive loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.

LaMelo Ball may have practiced with the G-League team without the NBA’s permission
The Charlotte Hornets star tested positive for Covid on December 6 before the Hawks game. He is expected to miss 10 days of action because he failed to return two negative tests in 24 hours as required by law. After the player has attended the health and safety procedures, he must be isolated for a minimum of 10 days and must not participate in any team activities.
However, one Twitter user believes that LaMelo Ball was in the gym with his brother LiAngelo Ball and Greensboro Swarm. The Hornets G-league affiliated team posted some pictures from yesterday’s training session and immediately deleted them for unknown reasons. But not before some fans managed to take screenshots.
Greensboro Swarm tweeted then deleted a set of photos that may contain LaMelo Ball (seen in the background of the second photo).

There’s a distracting player sitting on the floor in the background, and Twitter users have reason to believe it’s LaMelo Ball. Although it may not be obvious at first glance, this person may be interested in something. In his reply, he ruled out DJ Carton who could be mistaken for LaMelo.
Although Swarm’s Twitter handle retweeted the photos, the photo with Ball allegedly in it has since been deleted. He most likely joined his brother LiAngelo in a pre-clearance practice session. If that’s the case, he could face serious consequences if an investigation is opened.
