Intruder entered Maine High School and sprayed fire extinguisher, police say – Boston News, Weather, Sports

CARIBOU, Maine (AP) — A person accused of entering a high school and spraying a fire extinguisher has been arrested, police said Thursday.
The individual, a 23-year-old man with no fixed address, entered Caribou High School through a lobby entrance Thursday morning and walked into the school’s science wing, police said. The person was confronted by staff and grabbed the fire extinguisher and sprayed it before fleeing, police said.
The person was in custody on Thursday, police said. Students were cordoned off from part of the building while rescue workers and school staff cleaned and ventilated the building.
The charges include terrorism and criminal trespassing, and a court date is set for August 4.
