Instacart Shopper accepts a $150 order. It barely fits in her car

In a now-viral TikTok, an Instacart shopper shows off the massive multi-cart order she unknowingly accepted.
TikTok user Jackie (@creatingpurplejoy) posted the video on March 31st. As of April 4, the video had over 1 million views.
In the clip, Jackie says she accepted a $150 Instacart order without looking at which items she would pick up. Then she shows a clip of several pallet carts loaded with snacks and sodas.
The caption reads: “So I made it in under 2 hours but I didn’t expect it to be this big. My car was packed.” She also clarified that the customer had several people who helped her unload her car when she made the delivery.
@creatingpurplejoy Well I made it in under two hours but – I wasn’t expecting it to be this big! My car was packed, yall- I didn’t think I could do it all. Big thanks to my client who had several employees with carts to help me unload and deliver! 🥰❤️ #instacartshopper #instacartdelivery #instacartstory #instacartshopperlife #instacartshopperhelp #instacartshopperproblems #instacartshoppertip #shoppingforinstacart ♬ Syrup by Solomon – Joe ♡
In the comments, other delivery drivers and buyers have discussed their biggest orders.
“I did this to myself once too, it was for 3 orders and one of them had 24 cases of water,” wrote one user.
“I got one once for $70 and it was 50 cases of soda. Worst ever,” said another.
However, some viewers criticized the customer for using a delivery service app for such a large order.
“These people are really using Instacart for a restaurant and business delivery service how lazy y’all can be,” wrote one commenter.
The Daily Dot emailed Jackie and Instacart for more information.
