SHE may have been called the “most beautiful queen”, but Lady Amelia Windsor also has a beautiful home.
Forget life in a palace, Prince William and Harry’s 26-year-old model cousin has the next best thing; a stunning apartment in Notting Hill.
Amelia shares the space with her sister Marina, 29 – and regularly shares a glimpse of the stylish London pad on Instagram.
She may be regal, but her bedroom is as reserved and unassuming as many average women her age.
Amelia, who is 43rd in line to the throne, previously shared a snap in her bedroom with cream tones and a stunning vintage gold mirror.
Instead of decorating the room with lavish ornaments and expensive furniture like her royal relatives, the model instead hung Polaroids of her friends and family around the room and decorated it with other personal memorabilia.
Unlike the queen, who is Amelia’s grandfather’s cousin, this young queen has to cook her own meals every day – without the helping hands of several in-house chefs.
The retro-style kitchen is decorated with hand-painted plates strewn about the walls, which Hello! found on a trip to Italy.
She also has a traditional black AGA oven that she cooks in – reflecting her love of all things antique.
She previously told House & Garden that her style reflects her affinity for collectibles, saying: “We have things we’ve collected over the years and beautiful pieces of jewelry alongside treasures I’ve found at the Portobello and Golbourne markets have.”
But what’s a kitchen to cook up a storm if you don’t have somewhere to enjoy it?
Dubbed ‘Britain’s most beautiful queen’, the model has a super cute outdoor patio which she and her sister often use for al fresco dining.
While the classic orange tile and brick exterior may not compare to the sprawling gardens where Prince William and Kate Middleton reside, it’s still the perfect place to eat their plate of veggies.
The stunning sisters even decked out the outdoor table with a floral tablecloth and paired a few cacti as centerpieces – a modest contrast to some other lavish royal table settings.
As for her favorite spot in the house, however, Amelia says it’s the living room.
In her interview with House & Garden, Lady Amelia Windsor said: “The living room is by far my favorite part of the house. When I’m at home, I listen to music from Radio 4 or 6 over there with a cup of coffee.”
And it’s not hard to see why, as the muted cream walls and hardwood floors are the perfect place to relax — or, as she’s also demonstrated, work out.
As in other areas of her home, the walls are adorned with a section of abstract paintings and have simple furniture throughout, giving off a retro but chic vibe.
When she wants to escape her London block, the model ventures back to her family home in Cambridgeshire – where she has been self-isolating during lockdown.
But she also didn’t shy away from sharing a little taste of this space, which boasts a stunning neutral aesthetic.
Amelia shared a snap of a large hanging mirror in the conservatory, showing off the exposed white brick details and hanging green plants.
