I’m an organized mom of 4 but HATE doing laundry – two “lazy mom” changes made it so much easier

Laundry day can be a bit tiring for everyone.
You’ll need to separate your whites from coloreds, sort out delicates and determine what needs to be hung out to dry while you wait for each cycle to begin.

A household expert and mother of four named Jaime Hayes, known on TikTok as @organizelifecoach, has garnered a following thanks to the cleaning tips and DIYs she shares on social media.
She recently revealed the two “lazy mom” hacks she swears by when it comes to laundry day.
“If you’re like me, you hate doing laundry. I have four kids and the laundry never stops so I try to do it efficiently.
“I have a few tips I want to share that will make it easier for me, and maybe make it easier for you too.”

LAUNDRY BASKETS
The first tip she gave was to make sure each bedroom has its own laundry basket.
“And if you’re able, do your laundry separately.
“It makes it so much easier to fold when it’s a person’s clothes, and you can just fold it and put it away.”
Instead of wasting time debating which underwear and shorts go with which kid, you’ll know exactly where everything goes.
SOCKS
Her next tip concerned the types of socks you buy.
“Okay, that’s a problem for me in real time. I bought a pack of socks like this, they seem great,” she said, pointing to different colored socks.
“But every time I do the laundry, I look for the matches.”
She needs to look for two blues, two reds, and two oranges.
“Instead, do this: Buy uniform socks. Buy any gray or white socks whatever your kid likes and you don’t have to match them.
“It’s so much easier.”
Viewers were grateful for the advice:

“Oh yeah! That’s what I’ll be doing with the socks from now on,” one person wrote.
“I totally agree when it comes to doing one person’s laundry at a time. I have two sons of the same height and style so separation is key!” added another.
