I’m an iPhone expert – a creepy hack reveals your SECRET texts to everyone

SCRUBING secret information from screenshots before sending them to friends may not be as private as you think.

A TikToker showed that anyone can reveal the details you are hiding under using a very simple technique.

Be warned

So if you’re trying to hide a sensitive photo or important banking information, think again.

Users regularly use the screenshot editing tool and choose a dark marker pen.

But as lifehack.america shows, anyone can hide the effect to see what it’s hiding.

“If you ever send information that’s either crossed out or redacted, all the person receiving it on the other end has to do is open photos,” he said.

Then, in the Photos app, all you have to do is tap the Edit button.

You can then select Exposure and push it all the way to the maximum.

The same also applies to Brilliance.

All information hidden underneath is then fully exposed.

One user commented, saying, “If they do ONE layer of the black marker then yes they can do that.

“If they do multiple shifts, they can’t do that.”

Others have suggested that it’s better to cut out delicate things altogether.

It’s probably best not to send anything with important information up front – no matter how hidden you think it might be.
