I’m an internet nan…my tips will make airport trips easier and it’s about turning left at security

AN INTERNET grandmother shared five tips to make traveling a breeze.
With summer now in full force, most of us want to hop on a plane and explore the sunny shores around the world.

But unfortunately, to get there, vacationers must first make their way through the airport — and we all know how frustrating that part of the flight can be.
Luckily, one grandma took her helping hand to social media to share some tips.
The tricks were uploaded by Babs, aka Brunchwithbabs on Instagram, who calls herself the “internet mom/grandma you didn’t know you needed.”
The American, who encourages fans to “come for the family recipes and stay for the motherly advice,” has become the go-to resource for many looking for all manner of advice – from three ways to keep the house tidy to the best. Friend in need’ chicken casserole.
“For anyone traveling this weekend, here are three things I do at the airport,” Babs wrote in the viral video’s caption.
The first tip, according to her, is to learn how to carry your luggage with the least amount of effort.
Instead of maneuvering two bags each in your own hand, put the two handles together with the bags back-to-back and slide them forward.
“Makes it a lot easier,” the savvy grandma claimed.
Visiting the airport is without a doubt the most boring and tiring part of the holiday – and going through security is the part we don’t look forward to.
You’re stuck with hundreds of other passengers in an endless pool of people just as frustrated as you are, and the line doesn’t seem to be moving anywhere.

Once you get through security, Babs recommends always turning left.
“Most people are right-handed. Go left – shorter lines.”
Last but not least, staying comfortable is also important – and that’s where travel pillows come in handy.
But as Babs demonstrated, you’ve probably used them all incorrectly.
Instead of buckling the back of your head – even though the packaging says so – turn it around so the opening faces your back.
“Well, that’s convenient,” said the whiz kid before sharing a bonus tip.
“Ask if you can check your bag for the date. It doesn’t cost you anything and you don’t have to worry about it on the plane.”
This, she added, only applies to carry-on luggage.
