A etiquette expert has revealed the post-wedding activities you need to do after your honeymoon.

Denise Suthoff, who regularly shares insightful tips for brides and grooms planning weddings, shared a video with the advice on TikTok.

In the video, which was posted under her name @weddingtalk901, she revealed an important post-wedding task to be completed.

She explained thank you notes to show appreciation to the guests who attended the wedding are an “etiquette must”.

Denise advised: “You technically have three months to complete it, but don’t take that long.

“Get her as soon as you get back from your honeymoon, just go ahead and get her out.

“When people give you cash, don’t mention the dollar amount, just say thank you for the gift.

“A lot of people may have spent a lot of money on plane tickets and hotels, so be sure to recognize that in your thank-you letter.”

Denise explained that this should be done by the bride and groom, not “your mom” or other family members.

She continued: “Make sure you get these things done, they’re not dated, it’s just right. Don’t drop the ball at this point.”

The video has been viewed more than 12,300 times and received over 900 likes.
