“Aldi wasn’t an option yesterday, all of you,” Jazz captioned the video.
Then she shows the groceries she bought, worth $69.
“I can fit it in my hands,” she says in the video.
She bought two Starbucks items and said she “wanted to treat me.”
But Jazz was shocked to find out she’d paid nearly $4 for two lemons.
“Damn garlic was $3.99,” she continues.
At the end of the video, she knocks over a handful of objects and spices in frustration.
Other TikTokers shared this frustration.
“$4 for 2 lemons????” commented one user with the crying emoji.
“Avocados at Aldi cost 60 cents last fall. Now they cost $1.30,” wrote one TikToker.
“It’s worse when you accidentally waste a perishable item. Expensive mistakes,” said another user.
“Yes, processed foods are expensive,” wrote another.
“I bought for $90 and got home and couldn’t find anything to eat lol,” joked another person.
