ALDI employees have lashed out at “lazy” customers who choose to shop in ways that make them “die inside”.
In a Reddit forum for Aldi employees, store employees moaned about their hatred of pets.
A hot topic in this thread is online orders for curbside pickup, which employees have to pack in their cars for buyers to pick up.
A post from a Redditor shows a phone screen listing a shopper’s grocery order.
The photo is captioned: “What a great start to the morning. It was 126 units and the first order of the day.”
One user replied: “There should be a curb limit. No more than 60 units. Lazy f***s.”
Another said: “I had an order of 200 items the other day, it made me die a little inside.”
A similar post, headlined “Good morning,” showed an order for 129 grocery items.
One response read: “And THAT IS THAT what puts me off. lazy people
“Even worse when you don’t show up to pick it up before 3pm and you have to stuff everyone else’s crap into their 20 bags. I hate curbs.”
However, not everyone agreed that pick-up orders are a chore.
One worker said, “Am I the only one who likes working on the roadside?
“It keeps me away from the register or the warehouse, plus it’s like playing a customer simulator and ending with a race to put all the items in the person’s car.
“Not to mention all our roadside folks are old and always tip me, which our shop says we can take as long as they insisted.”
Last month, some Aldi employees claimed they love watching boring training videos because it’s better than dealing with customers.
An alarming number of staff have seen shoppers defecate in the aisles.
Aldi employees have also revealed they fear Wednesdays the most, as customers queue outside the store before it opens.
Wednesday is said to be the best time to snag bargains at the low-cost chain.
