RENTING can leave you feeling limited in your options – however, there are many ways to enhance your living space if you are feeling creatively limited.
A content creator named Ade shared how she completely transformed her bathroom into a rented space with Dollar Tree purchases.
The DIYer grabbed peel-and-stick paper from Dollar Tree for $1.25 and got to work.
Using three rolls of the black and white marble-like wallpaper, Ade created an accent wall in her bathroom.
She then added accent pieces, including some framed artwork of an eye, a fancy gold toilet paper holder that she saved, as well as a gold basket that housed a unique flower vase and hand soap.
By the time Ade was done, her bathroom was completely remodeled.
She told viewers the wallpaper held up well as only one corner had peeled off simply because she hadn’t properly primed the wall where it was placed.
It was also easy to apply as it has an adhesive backing.
Ade confirmed it’s tenant-friendly, explaining that when she eventually removed the wallpaper, it left no damage.
People in the video’s comments section were impressed with the transformation and gave Ade lots of praise.
“I absolutely love that. Your style is perfect,” wrote one.
“I’m obsessed because I can’t afford three of the $34 reels at Target,” joked another.
“That looks really good! I love the gold accents!”
“Omg, so awesome!!!”
“An innovator,” praised one final person.
