Heather didn’t want to waste money buying the Swiffer refills, so she discovered a nifty trick.

To uncap the Swiffer cartridge, Heather says you should microwave a cup of water for two minutes.

Then immerse the cap in the cup of hot water for one minute.

After that, the cap should twist off easily. Now you can fill your Swiffer cartridge with your favorite cleaning product.
