The expert, who posts under the acronym @thebragenie, took to TikTok and shared a short clip in which she begins, “Hey yeah, so most of you guys know that most women are wearing the wrong bra size.”

“So I’m going to share a few tips on finding the right bra for you.”

First things first, you should start with the blood – that’s the wire between the two cups, so you want this to sit and pat on your chest – right between your breasts.

If it tends to fly away, it means you’ve either overtightened your straps, or the back band may not be the right fit.”

She goes on to say that the second thing is the back band.

“You want to have something like a two-three finger pull,” she continues.

“And you also want to start your bra on the loosest hook so you can tighten it if it starts to stretch over time and wear your bra sturdier.”

The expert notes that the wires are the third thing to consider.

“You always want the wire to sit behind the breast tissue,” she says.

She then instructs, “Pull your chest forward — not when it’s sitting forward and not swinging outward — and the wire needs to line up with the crease of your armpit.”

The post has since garnered 911,000 views and has been inundated with comments from grateful social media users.

“Thanks for the tip,” wrote one.

A second commented: “Thanks for sharing.”

A third wrote: “Thanks for your tips! Very appreciated.”

Meanwhile, another commended: “Omg super helpful.”

Another gushed: “Very informative.”
