A PRO shopper has unveiled the perfect bath towels, which she described as “unnecessary”.
The luxury goods guru released her review of bathroom essentials after trying five different sets on Amazon.
TikToker Anni Vanderbeek posted the video as part of her series in which she “finds things that you might not technically need but that make life better.”
During her search for the perfect bath towel, Vanderbeek said she tried about five different sets and washed them before making her final decision.
“But I found the winner,” Vanderbeek said in the video, which has over two and a half million views.
After extensive research, she chose Gilden Tree’s oversized bath towels as her “unnecessary” towels.
A set of two costs a whopping $88 on Amazon, but assuming the bath towels are over six feet long.
“They’re absolutely chunky and the waffle pattern is super absorbent and soft,” said Vanderbeek.
In the comments, users debated whether Lux towels are worth the extra dough.
“Wait, this is so relevant and absolutely necessary,” one person said.
Another person commented, “Honestly, bath sheets are where it’s at. Why have a towel when I could wrap myself up like a burrito.”
“These are the reviews we need! Tried and true! Instead of people just posting Amazon pics out here,” commented another.
Others didn’t quite get beyond the price and even looked for fakes.
“$86 for two???? we in different tax brackets,” commented one user.
Another said: “IKEA has a second helping for $13!! They may not be that big, but they’re also waffle knit.”
Anni Vanderbeek has posted other videos where she “reveals game-changing lifehacks”.
The lifestyle junkie has shared little special things that she thinks will make life that little bit better.
This comes after a chef on Amazon unveiled a kitchen gadget that can do three jobs for just $1.50.
The endorsement comes from Food & Wine, which revealed nondescript kitchen towels that go with everything.
The simple rags, which come from the Utopia Kitchen brand, are available with red, blue, gray or green stripes.
A 12-pack is $17.99 on Amazon, making the must-have towels just $1.50 each.
Molly Baz, a professional chef well-known for her recipes and various YouTube series, told Food & Wine that Utopia kitchen towels can do it all.
“Sturdy kitchen towels like the Utopia kitchen towels can do a triple job,” she told the outlet.
You can use the towels for routine kitchen cleaning, use them as oven mitts or oven mitts, and even set the table with the towels instead of a napkin.
If you’re worried about cross-contamination or just don’t want to risk burning your napkins, grab a few sets and color-code them.
An Amazon reviewer echoed the pro’s advice.
“Since buying these, I haven’t felt the need to buy paper towels or napkins,” commented the reviewer. “I’m so glad I found these as they are everything I was looking for and more.”
