In her TikTok clip, she jazzed up the look of plain-looking flower pots by drawing a funky pattern on one with a black marker and wrapping rope around the other.
And she wrapped material around another holder, creating what’s called a ribbon pot.
Laurie used what appears to be a glass tube to connect two pots together, creating a level.
And she packed a candlestick full of soil before potting a small plant.

Even gardening fans can use chip dip pots if they want to grow plants in their home.
Laurie’s latest innovative hack involves using an oval metal planter from Fleurs and Jardin.
The flower box has no drainage holes and can be used indoors for small plants and gifts.
Laurie revealed that the flower pot with the black marker design is her favorite.
Meanwhile, one mom has revealed the secret behind her two-ingredient bug repellent.
An Instagram influencer known only as Shannon says lime and white cloves can keep mosquitoes away.
She showed viewers how to cut the limes in half and stick the whole cloves into the pulp.
Leaving these on the table or anywhere near you while you’re outside will ensure the bugs don’t ruin your day, she says.
She added that sometimes she and the kids use the carnations to make cute smiley faces in the limes, making it a family activity too.
Meanwhile, another gardener has warned against using cayenne pepper to deter pests from destroying your plants and flowers.
He said in his TikTok video, “I think a lot of people have heard the myth that using cayenne pepper repels squirrels.
“Well, that might put them off temporarily, but you’re not going to keep them away forever.”
The gardener revealed that he will spread chicken manure on the ground.

But before you buy it, you need to make sure it has been composted.
Chicken manure can also be purchased in pellet form for a safer option.
