I’m a mom – I think formula milk is lazy and parents should make more sacrifices, but I’ve been called toxic for my views

THE nationwide shortage of baby food has inspired moms everywhere to share passionate opinions – but one apparently ruffled some feathers.

When a social media user named Carlee shamed moms who use formulas, she was soon put in her place by another mom named Kristen.

In Carlee’s TikTok video, she rants: “Stop telling moms ‘feed is best.’ I’m sorry, that’s not it!”

In other words, Carlee doesn’t think formulating is an appropriate way of feeding babies compared to breastfeeding.

While Carlee acknowledges that some women struggle to breastfeed naturally, she also believes that most women who don’t breastfeed are just lazy.

Kristen was rightly upset and bothered by Carlee’s rude remarks.

Kristen responded in her video by saying, “Stop believing you have a say in choosing a mom and how she raises her kids… Because you don’t!”

Kristen went on to share the story of how she struggled to breastfeed her firstborn for the first six weeks.

She said it was so difficult and painful that she cried every time she tried to enable breastfeeding.

The experience even led her to a battle with postpartum depression.

Kristen says, “I felt like a failure. Because I couldn’t do what I was told was the most natural thing for a mother to do.”

Kristen’s first account of her struggle with breastfeeding is proof that women who choose infant formula aren’t just lazy.

Several women in Kristen’s comments section totally agree with her point of view.

One woman wrote: “Giving your child the best version of themselves is far more important than the kind of milk they get. I have been formula fed from day one and [have] No regret!”

Another woman wrote: “Many mothers are also on medication and it is not safe to breastfeed. She’s in her own little world.”

A third woman wrote: “I can’t believe it [Carlee] even left these videos on top. I don’t understand how she can be so proud of herself for shaming mothers.”
