On a hot summer day there is nothing more refreshing than an ice cold popsicle.

Save yourself the hassle of making homemade popsicles this summer season with TikTok user Sierrawoh’s quick and easy hack.

In her video, Sierra describes how to make homemade popsicles using juice boxes.

First she puts the juice boxes on a tray and cuts off the top part with a knife.

Sierra then places a popsicle stick in each box and puts the tray in the freezer, referring to herself as a “lazy mom”.

However, TikTok viewers seemed to have nothing but praise for the innovation, refusing to call it lazy.

“Lazy!? I’d say awesome!!” said a viewer.

Another user agreed, writing, “This isn’t a lazy mom because I would just walk into the store and buy whatever they had on sale, organic or not.”

In the hack, a user recalled a similar money-saving hack from his childhood.

“Growing up, we would just freeze the whole box, then cut off the lid and eat it with a spoon,” they said.

One user even pointed out another benefit of these DIY popsicles over store-bought ones.

“That’s not being lazy, that’s being a good mother,” they said.

“You want your children to eat healthily and you make sure that happens. Some parents don’t even try.”

While one commenter called it “the true meaning of DIY,” another was quick to point out that Sierra technically made the popsicle itself: “You made it at home, that makes it homemade enough for me.”
