A HAIRDRESSER has shown the proper way to wash your hair and one of these is to shampoo your hair TWICE.
According to TikTok user @amy.does.some.hair, there’s a “right” way to clean your locks — and her video has made some people reconsider her technique.

In her tutorial, which has racked up 1.1 million views, she explains: “Wet your hair thoroughly, distribute the shampoo on your hands, and distribute the shampoo evenly on your scalp.
“Wet your hair thoroughly, distribute the shampoo on your hands and distribute the shampoo evenly on your scalp.”
After it has been distributed in your hair, you should massage the shampoo all over the scalp with your fingertips.
She added: “Don’t miss your hairline or nape of the neck.”
After rinsing your hair, the stylist advised you to repeat the process, but this time focus on your scalp and only gently run the lather through the ends of your hair.
When you’ve rinsed again, it’s time to add conditioner.
This should be applied to the ends of the hair, avoiding the roots, and leave on for a minute or two.
Amy advises finishing off your shampoo with a cool conditioner before toweling your hair.
Her video has garnered hundreds of comments after being shared on TikTok, with many people saying they will now change how they wash their hair.
One said: “I’m looking at this even though I’m a hairdresser and I know it.”
Another added: “I do this! Perfectly clean hair every time.”
