I’m a Dollar Tree worker

A DOLLAR Tree employee has revealed her biggest hatred compels her to yell at customers over the intercom.

The unnamed employee said they got angry when kids started bouncing basketballs in the aisles.

They vented on Reddit, “I can’t stand it when customers, mostly kids and young people, grab a basketball and start bouncing it around the store.”

The worker said they use the intercom to warn customers not to bounce balls in the store.

They added, “Anytime I hear a ball bounce, I hop on the phone and sternly and professionally tell customers not to bounce them.”

Other workers said that children who throw balls in the store irritate them too.

And another employee claimed two children between the ages of six and seven ran through the store and shot themselves with water pistols.

They said: “I kindly asked them to be careful and try to avoid injury.

“They continued for five minutes before finally stopping.”

Redditors slammed kids who think the “world is their playground.”

Other Dollar Tree employees revealed that their favorite hate was customers trying on glasses and removing their masks during the fitting process.

One said: “Ofc they also struggle to put everything back and/or drop it.

“They then usually started shopping with their mask around their chins and I had to watch them realize their mistake.”

Meanwhile, another employee was upset after being constantly questioned about the cost of the store’s frozen foods.

Dollar Tree is known for selling hundreds of items that cost as little as $1.25.

However, some stores have a Dollar Tree Plus section where items range from $3 to $5.

Dollar Tree Plus is available in more than 100 stores, according to the blog Passionate Penny Pincher.

The worker said: “We are not Dt+ but we have Dt+ Frozen now. Yay this gonna be fun (didn’t) already had 10 people thinking that’s $1.25 like hello didn’t you see all the signs???”

CUSTOMER ANGRY

Meanwhile, a worker recalled the moment a customer was angry at the way he was packing his groceries.

Once a lady bought some cookies, a pair of nail clippers and two cockroach traps.

Angry at the way the cashier bagged her groceries, the lady reportedly said, “Damn, I have to pack my own shit because your stupid ass didn’t make it the way I wanted it to.”

The worker figured the customer would prefer her way of packing groceries if she knew she would have had to pack them herself at Aldi.

Aldi is known for its fast checkout process, with cashiers quickly scanning groceries before adding them to the shopping cart.

The stores have a long counter where shoppers can organize their purchases before heading to their cars.

The Sun revealed that greeting cards and picture frames are among the best dollar store buys.

However, workers have advised Dollar Tree customers not to buy frozen foods from the retailer.
