HANGING wall decor seems like a simple task, but in reality it can be very difficult.
There’s nothing more annoying than hanging a picture and it lands askew on the wall, forcing you to drill another hole.
Luckily, there’s a simple trick to hanging your wall decor without having to make a wall full of holes.
A DIY pro named Carolina McCauley shared her simple decorating hack with her 1.9 million Instagram followers.
In her video, McCauley used painter’s tape on the back of a mirror and marked where the nails would go.
Then she attached the tape to her wall, drilled holes in the marks on the tape, and hung her mirror easily.
With McCauley’s tape trick, she took away all the frustration that comes with trying
Several impressed people took to the comments section to share their thoughts on McCauley’s hack, including one who wrote: “It seems obvious but I never thought of it! Thanks!”
Another commented: “Well damn it! I was years old today! Do you know how many crooked, crooked mirrors, holes and images I’ve had to repeat…where have you been all my life?”
Someone else appreciated McCauley for sharing her tip and commented, “Thanks. I have a few things I need to hang up and couldn’t figure it out lol.”
A fourth quipped: “So simple yet so clever! Thanks!”
Additionally, an interior designer shared how you can make your home look a lot more expensive with cheap artwork.
Meanwhile, one woman transformed her boring bedroom wall into a modern gallery using cheap Ikea frames.
