THE family room is perhaps the most used room in the house.
It is the area where your loved ones gather to socialize, watch TV or just relax.
Seth and Sheyenne are a newly married couple who have a following of over 100,000 TikTok users, all of whom are following the couple’s renovation journey.
The couple posted on their @stripped.and.styled account, sharing their closet building tips, favorite paint colors and bathroom remodeling hacks.
Recently, Sheyenne revealed how she keeps her family room looking chic and functional — and the trick won’t cost you much.
“Every time I show our TV like this in a picture or video, I get asked about it,” she said, pointing to her TV, which looked like a framed work of art.
“We don’t have those expensive frame TVs that don’t even come with a frame, by the way.”
Instead, she simply built her own frame to fit the TV’s dimensions and then glued it directly on.
“This is a regular smart TV that we bought years ago.”
Getting the artwork on TV to look like an expensive print or canvas is easy, according to Sheyenne:
“Your TV has to be a smart TV to do that, but I have a feeling most TVs are smart these days.
“So you can click YouTube right on your TV, or I like to open the YouTube app on my iPad or phone because I hate typing on the TV.
“Just type and search TV art and you can scroll through and find a lot.”
Once you’ve chosen your art, simply play it on the TV.
Sheyenne said her favorite prints are those from Vintage Art TV.
