I’m a DIY pro – how to keep bugs out of your home this summer with an everyday cleaning product

NOBODY wants to deal with annoying flies in their home.

Unfortunately, nicer weather means more bugs, but a home improvement expert posted a video showing him using an everyday cleaning product to keep bugs away.

The expert said you can use the Original Pine-Sol (which contains Pine Oil) to deter insects.

Much cheaper than other bug fixes, Pine-Sol can be bought on Amazon for only about $5.

“I use a half bottle with two gallons of water,” he said.

Then he said to spray the mixture anywhere you want to keep insects away.

The DIYer uses a two-gallon sprayer to apply the Pine-Sol to his house, and it’s available on Amazon for only about $16.

“I live near water, so I do that about twice a week in the summer,” he said.

The cleaning product not only prevents bugs, but also leaves the area smelling fresh.

Though this DIY expert mostly uses it for houseflies, one viewer said, “It keeps spiders and other bugs at bay, too!”

“It goes far,” said the expert.

“I’ll only use two or three bottles for the whole season”

“I spray my horse boxes,” said another user.

“No flies and smells good!”
