Cooks only need a few ingredients for this one-minute hack.
First, put some hot water in a microwave-safe container.
Next, add a tablespoon of vinegar to the container.


Then crack the egg over hot water and vinegar. Microwave the mixture for 50 seconds.
As soon as the microwave timer goes off, remove it immediately, but be careful as the container may be hot.
Scoop out the egg with a spatula and place it on top of your desired meal.
If you like, you can add extra seasoning to the poached egg.
Cutting the poached egg diagonally gives you the perfect cross-section of the runny yolk.
