IF you’re a cleaning fanatic, then you’ve probably seen the myriad of hacks on TikTok.
However, there is a trick so strange you probably haven’t heard of it.
A cleaning pro named Christine Higgs, who regularly shares home improvement tips, shared the one item you need to instantly remove water stains from your furniture.
If you bake a lot, you may already have the item tucked away in your pantry.
Lo and behold, the item that removes water rings like a charm are walnuts.
In a video, Higgs showed exactly how to use the nut to remove those pesky furniture stains.
She simply took a walnut and rubbed it over the water stains until they disappeared.
After wiping away any crumbs, Higgs’ previously stained dresser looked good as new thanks to the walnuts.
In the video’s caption, she wrote, “I spent 2 years fixing water stains on my dresser with a walnut… WHAT!?”
In the comments, Higgs also expressed her disbelief at the weird cleaning hack, writing, “I still can’t believe it.”
People also took to the comments section to share their shock at Higgs’ ruse.
One wrote: “No way WHAT ON EARTH.”
Another added: “I’ve heard this so many times but never tried it! I can’t believe it works so well, I wonder if it must be the right shade.”
A third quipped: “The walnut knit works every time and blows my mind every time. Got a scratch on my floor, gone!”
“My favorite trick to show people!! It’s magical,” read a fourth comment.
If you don’t have walnuts on hand, you can still remove water rings with just two products – a damp cloth and an iron.
