Per The Daily Star, a professional chef who cooks for the Queen has revealed how to make his bacon pack hit.

It can be especially tricky to get bacon crispy without turning it into a greasy mess.

But don’t worry, Jeff Baker, Executive Development Chef at Farmison & Co, has detailed how to cook your bacon to perfection.

One thing the expert mentioned is that you shouldn’t slow cook your bacon if you want that satisfying crispiness.

You’re going to want to get your pan hot. Once heated, add your bacon bits and sear on both sides.

This will caramelize the bacon and keep it crispy and full of flavor.

The pro chef explained, “I find the best way to cook bacon is to sear it in a skillet over medium-high heat with a small amount of natural fat on each side for about a minute.

“If the bacon is properly dried and cut to a nice thickness, it should caramelize around the edges.

“The fat is then rendered out without dissolving, resulting in a delicious taste.”

And you can put the condiments on hold because with these tips, you won’t be craving them.

Jeff added, “In my opinion, when the bacon is cooked this way it doesn’t need a sauce to enhance the flavor – it will be perfect just the way it is.”
