Unfortunately, one bride was severely disappointed with her shapewear and opted for a much cheaper option.

Ileana Justine, who tied the knot in late 2021, took to social media to share the one thing she regrets buying for her wedding: SKIMS.

The New York City bride began, “I spent a ton of time researching the best wedding shapewear and all I wanted was a pair of shorts.

“I knew I was going to sweat and I didn’t want to get chafing on my thighs and people were saying across the board that SKIMS was that good.

“I’m not a big Kardashian person, but I was willing to try.”

The newlywed then went on to explain that as soon as she saw the shorts she ordered, she knew they wouldn’t work for her because “they were so small.”

Despite using the website’s sizing chart, she opted for the small/medium pair “and they fit me”.

“I tried them on and they were fine for the first few minutes that I wore them—but after that…I just couldn’t wear them,” she explained.

“I literally had my maid of honor crawl under my dress and take her off me so I didn’t have to take my dress off.

“I ended up wearing a pair of shorts I bought from TJ Maxx which were super comfortable. They worked so much better for me.”

Ileana Justine took to the comments section and went on to explain that her biggest problem “was the waistband kept rolling down making them really tight and uncomfortable around my waist.”

She added, “They probably would have been good if I hadn’t worn them under a heavy and tight wedding dress.”
