I’m a bride – I thought my first dance was going perfectly until I discovered something horrible under my wedding dress

They look forward to choosing their dress, walking down the aisle, saying “I do” and sharing their first dance with their chosen partner.

Newlywed Madalyn Wise said her wedding day was going really well until she discovered something really scary.

In a viral TikTok clip, she and her husband can be seen enjoying their first dance on the dance floor.

While everything seemed very romantic, this fairy tale was short-lived.

“What we discovered under my dress a few minutes after our first dance,” she began.

The next picture showed a picture of her leg and her dress covered in blood.

“It was a leech,” she said alongside a video of the creature squirming on the ground.

Luckily, the bride was able to catch the leech that had sucked her blood under her wedding dress before it did any more damage.

She shared pictures of her bandaged leg while seated in a robe.

“There’s always something wrong with your wedding, isn’t it?” she joked.

The clip has received over 31 million views and thousands of comments from viewers expressing concern.

In a follow-up video, the bride revealed that there were actually three leeches on her body: one on her foot, one behind her knee and one crawling up her leg.

She said the largest was on her leg for about three hours before she noticed.

Her mother-in-law was actually the person who spotted some blood on the dress and they both assumed she had gotten her period.

But when they lifted the dress, they discovered the leeches.

The reason one of the leeches was so fat, Madalyn said, was because it had been on her body for so long and had become filled with blood.

Luckily none of the guests had anything to do with leeches and the bride was fine!
