A TIKTOKER went to Costco and asked an employee to share secrets even the most common shopper wouldn’t know.
Mary Allyson’s video went viral and garnered over 3 million views after she revealed secrets about Costco’s shocking return policy.

In the video, Mary can be seen walking into a Costco and filming her encounter with an employee who answers all of her questions about product returns.
Mary asked if she could get a refund on a product if it went on sale afterwards, to which the associate said it was possible if the physical receipt was presented.
“And you have 30 days from the date of purchase or until the end of sale, whichever comes first,” the employee said.
Mary also asked if it was possible to return a product at any time for a full refund.
“We’d appreciate it if you had your receipt because it’s quicker,” the employee said.
“But they are never needed. Unless it is a price adjustment.”
Costco can even accept grocery returns as long as the product is within its sell-by date and 50 percent of the groceries remain.
“You can’t eat all the cookies!” said the employee.
Electronics and large appliances can only be returned within 90 days, however some products, such as B. AirPods, exceptions.
“I have a device that’s almost two years old and one is like it’s not behaving well… I’ll probably be returning it,” the clerk said.
Mary commented, “Man you all have a great return policy.”
In response, the employee said, “Yes…I mean, you could buy a couch from us and return it 10 years later!”
“Good to know!” said Maria.
The video received thousands of comments, with some users confirming what the employee said and others warning shoppers not to take the policy for granted.
“Yes folks please don’t abuse the policy,” one person wrote. “Honestly, only return what you’re not happy with, don’t abuse the policy.”
“Yes I heard someone had their membership revoked for abusing this so don’t freak out,” warned another.
