I transformed a dingy lounge into a stunning boho space on a tight budget and people are calling it “absolutely divine”.

A WOMAN who hated her dingy living room enlisted the help of interior designer Whinnie Williams to transform it into a chic boho space.

Whinnie – one of the presenters of the BBC three makeover show Flat Out Fabulous – took to TikTok to share a video documenting the transformation.

“This living room was like an alleyway to the kitchen, so the couches were in a weird place,” she explained.

“So I got rid of her. I paint the blanket dark to let it fall and make it cozy.

“Botanical wallpaper – yes!

“Then I built a huge platform because I thought, ‘I’m going to build a huge sofa to relax on.’

“And it just feels really ’70s boho. Lots of lighting, lots of rattan and it’s just gorgeous.

“Bish bash bosh.”

Captioning the video, Whinnie wrote: “Pounds 600 well spent. Go to bbc3 to watch #FlatOutFabulous and see how I made it.”

People flocked to the comments section to praise Whinnie for the incredible transformation.

“OMG – everything about it is absolutely divine,” wrote one.

“Looks so pretty and comfy,” added another.

“How did you make the wood?” someone else asked, to which Whinnie replied, “Just streaks of long wooden nails shot into the wall and stained.”

“I’m in love with the sofa. Where did you buy it?” another questioned.

“Made from scratch and bought the seat cushions online,” Whinnie replied.
