The blogger announced the name of her newborn on Instagram along with a picture of her daughter in a white romper and wrote, “TALA.”

In comments to the post, numerous people were quick to ask Ashy how to pronounce the nickname – apparently confused as to whether it was “Tala” like “Nala” or like “Taylor.”

“Congratulations. How do you pronounce your name?” one wrote.

“Pronounced like LALA or NALA, but TALA (for those who ask),” Ashy replied.

“Tala meanings ~ Gold, Star, Story, Noble & Wolf Princess, Little Palm and Pretty Girl (I only found out about this after we announced and what countries the meanings are from! So so cool.”

After Ashy cleared up some people’s confusion, others insisted they had no issues with the name.

“This is 100 percent not confusing,” one person wrote.

“How confusing is that lol,” added another.

“Tala. Like Nala. Why do people add a silent y,” asked another.

“It’s definitely Tala. It’s really popular in the Philippines,” read another comment.

“My partner is Filipino and is on our list for a future baby.”

Ashy is also mother to eight-year-old son Taj with husband Steven Evans.

She gave birth to baby Tala in June.
