I tattooed Elon Musk’s face on a techie – everyone is appalled at what is written next to it

A tattoo artist from New York has had people scratching their heads after painting someone’s leg with Elon Musk’s face.

Tattoo artist Alexey Mashkov shared a picture of the grotesque body art with his 500,000 Instagram followers on Wednesday.

A feast for the eyes, the colorful display stretches approximately 20cm and has been branded across the customer’s calf.

It features a likeness of Musk’s head and neck, complete with bloodshot eyes and the collar of a black leather jacket.

The slightly more unconventional part, however, is the half-dozen face tattoos that litter the billionaire’s smirking mug.

They point to Musk’s litany of companies, including rocket maker SpaceX, electric car company Tesla, and brain-chip outfit Neuralink.

A prominent phrase on the mogul’s forehead is a nod to his recent and controversial purchase of Twitter.

It reads “Free Speech” with the iconic Twitter bird logo fluttering through its lettering.

Musk has said he poured $44 billion into the acquisition of the social media giant to protect freedom of speech.

Born in Moscow, Alexey made a name for himself painting hyper-realistic portraits on people’s bodies.

He has tattooed likenesses of Kurt Cobain, Bob Ross, Jim Carey and even Darth Vader from Star Wars on clients.

The artist told tattoo magazine InkPpl in 2019 that he charges up to $3,000 per session.

Alexey’s musk tattoo left the internet divided, with some loving the artwork while others demolished it.

One of the most popular comments under the post is a single vomit emoji.

Another person joked, “Would be perfect if the Twitter deal fell through.”

Others were more complimentary, with one commenter writing, “Can’t wait to see the cured version.”

Another fan gushed, “I just hope one day before I die I can get a tattoo of you…it’s my dream, I LOVE YOUR ART.”
