A MAN who spotted a bargain at B&M was slammed for not leaving any on the shelves for other shoppers.
He posted his impressive haul on the Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK Facebook group.
The man wrote: “My bargain of the day, 10p a B&M.
“Yeah I took them all that anyone else would have done lol.”
When he saw that the items were on sale at a ridiculous price, he decided to snag every one that was on the shelf.
And he didn’t feel too bad about it, since anyone else would have done the same if they had spotted the bargain first.
The item in question was cardboard cat scratchers which are normally available in B&M for £2 each.
That means he saved a total of £13.30 on the seven he bought.
But not everyone in the group was enthusiastic about his antics and felt it was unfair of him to take them all.
One wrote: “No they wouldn’t have, they would have let someone else have some too.”
Another wrote: “All these people buying everything so no one else can are probably the ones who cleared the shelves during Covid. Not really something to be proud of.”
A third commented: “If you didn’t have multiple cats, 7 would have been enough to share with other people.”
But others said it was fair game if he took them all.
One wrote: “I would have taken them all too much lol.”
“You’re right, I’d clear out the shelf,” added another person.
A third said: “I would have done the same, yes. My cat gets through loads and they are usually so expensive. Good for you and your bargain, lucky kitty cat.”
https://www.the-sun.com/lifestyle/5545597/spotted-bargain-cleared-the-shelf-trolled/ I spotted a 10p bargain at B&M so I cleared the shelf – I get trolled but don’t feel guilty, anyone would have done the same
