I spent $474 on best-selling Kim Kardashian’s Skims—they didn’t leave much to the imagination

There’s no denying that Skims is an incredibly popular brand because it was created by Kim Kardashian.
Just because her name is behind such a luxurious range of clothing, does the item really make it worth buying?

A YouTuber and fashionista named Mia Maples posted a video where she breaks down Skims’ best-selling products.
The first items from Mia’s Skims-Haul are the $36 Cotton Plunge Bralette and the $28 Cotton Rib Brief in Bone color.
She says: “The fabric feels fantastic. It’s very, very soft.”
“That doesn’t leave much for the imagination, does it?” asks Mia jokingly.

Ultimately, she rates the bralette and panty 8 out of 10.
Next, she tries on the $68 Soft Lounge Slip Dress in Orchid.
“It definitely has portability. I understand why it’s a bestseller,” says Mia.
The next item she tries on is the $62 Sculpting Bodysuit With Snaps in Sand.
As soon as Mia pulls it out of the packaging, she is blown away by how tiny the piece is in her hands.
Eventually she is able to put the bodysuit on despite the difficulties it poses.
She says: “They are definitely so comfortable that they don’t put a strain on my circulation.”
The $48 cotton-jersey tee is the next piece Mia tries on.
After trying it on, she says, “I like this t-shirt. I mean, it’s a nice shirt!”

The next two items Mia tries on are the $32 Fits Everybody Scoop Neck Bra and the $14 Fits Everybody Micro Thong.
Regarding the thong, Mia says, “I don’t think that would stay in place at all!”
Of the bra, she says, “It’s really nice…for me, who doesn’t have breasts, it feels like it can hold me.”
Finally, Mia tries on the $98 Sheer Sculpt Catsuit with the $88 Soft Lounge Sleeve Dress.

“It’s really, really tight,” she says after putting on the shapewear.
“I wish the catsuit shapewear had a scoop neckline,” she tells viewers, since the neckline doesn’t match the dress.
In total, she spent about $474 on all of the items she tried on in her video.
She also mentioned at the outset that she spent $200 on shipping on top of the total cost.
The people in Mia’s comments section on YouTube are grateful for their honest review.

One person wrote, “I definitely won’t be buying anything from Skims but I thought the review was great!”
“I would never spend that much money on clothes and $200 for easy shipping is insane. I love your videos though,” added another.
