I ordered from Chewy and it took a YEAR – but that wasn’t the worst

IF it’s been a year and you’re still waiting for a package to arrive in the mail, it’s probably gone forever.

But that wasn’t the case with a woman.

Jordan Boggess, a band teacher from Arizona, shared in a video the surprise package she received from online pet supply store Chewy.

She said: “I came home and found this shredded box on my porch and we hadn’t ordered our Chewy show yet.

“And I’ll come by and check the date… That was sent out in February 2021…

“It’s now 2022, almost June… Why did we just get this?”

The worst thing about the whole debacle is that Boggess’ package arrived almost in tatters.

Boggess showed the broken package and it looked like it was barely held together by a few strips of duct tape.

In the video, Boggess cheekily said, “Where have you been?

“What adventures have you seen, Box?”

In a subsequent video, Boggess revealed that the package contained a large amount of dog food and wrote: “Was this box thrown into a volcano for 16 months? Shipping date is February 2021.”

In the comments, many people pointed out that the long delay was likely due to the carrier, which in this case was FedEx, and not Chewy.

One wrote: “Sounds like a shipping issue not a chewing issue. Chewy is wonderful.”

Another added: “As an avid Chewy supporter, I can safely say this was probably FedEx’s fault.

“You’ve got to stop using them lol.”

“FedEx is 1000% the worst and any problem after the ship date is their fault,” reads a third comment.

Another quipped, “As someone who works at FedEx where Chewy ships, I can almost guarantee it’s FedEx’s fault, not Chewy.

“I bet FedEx lost it and then found it.”

A FedEx representative told The Sun: “Delivering our customers’ shipments on time is our top priority and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay.”

The Sun has also reached out to Chewy for comment and has not received a response at the time of writing.
