This tattoo artist recently trusted her own skills when she decided to tattoo her own face.

Jay Diamond, who jumped in at the deep end, already had many other tattoos but none of her face.

But she decided to inked a pink diamond on the side of her face and everyone is obsessed with the tiny tattoo.

The artist carefully added the delicate stencil to her face, making sure to take all the usual precautions.

She settled on a bright pink color, then prepared her tattoo gun and jumped right in.

Trying to multitask her own face tattoo and filming the endeavor ended up being a bit of a challenge, but nothing she couldn’t handle.

Because the tattoo was so small and there was no intricate detail or shading, it didn’t take long to complete.

The finished ink looked cool and understated, fitting her name perfectly.

She captioned the video, “I already want another one.”

Everyone else loved the little design too: “Pink ink is so pretty,” said one.

Another commented, “I don’t even dare draw eyeliner right now!”

Jay said that tattooing itself is not without its challenges.

“I had to get used to acting in the mirror, it’s not for the faint of heart.”
