A woman’s stomach-turning manicure has shocked social media users.
The woman shared an attempt at a dip powder manicure on Facebook, but some commenters say it was so bad they were convinced it was a joke.
Photos of the nails were originally shared on a manicure Facebook group but have since been posted to a nail shaming group.
“I thought it was a joke at first… Or at least a first attempt at diving. But no!” wrote one Facebooker, sharing the unidentified woman’s nails.
The images feature dipping powders in shades of white, yellow, green and gold swirling around in an abstract pattern on each nail.
But while the color combination raises eyebrows, it’s the chunky 3D quality of the nails that really took viewers away from lunch.
“When you dip your fingers in your Florentine scrambled eggs and call it quits. They look like they smell awful and the texture,” wrote one horrified commenter.
“Looks like someone needs to talk to their doctor about Lamisil,” said another, referring to a fungal drug.
“These really might be the craziest nails I’ve ever seen,” commented a third.
“It looks like ram’s horn nails with fungus and mold,” chimed in a fourth user.
Another tried to imagine what the woman could possibly have asked for to get such an ugly manicure.
“Listen to me… I’m aiming for athlete’s foot vibes, can you pull this off?!” she said.
“They are just wild,” wrote another.
What’s more, the woman with the odd nails seems happy with the results and posed for several elaborate photos in front of and with lilies.
Also in the nail-shaming Facebook group, commenters were disgusted by a woman’s cat-claw manicure.
Another bad manicure has been likened to Halloween candy, and another mani mistake left a woman “traumatized” for months.
