I bought from Kylie Swim and was horrified – the swimsuits were see through but that wasn’t the worst

QUALITY swimwear should do a few things: fit your body properly, have well-stitched seams, and make you look great by the pool or on the beach.
But one shopper said her Kylie swim-haul does none of that, or even covers her body completely, making her too anxious to wear the bikinis outside of her home.

Influencer Mariale Marrero used TikTok to warn her 4.6 million followers about her negative experiences with the brand.
“I bought Kylie Swim so you wouldn’t have to,” the YouTuber said in the clip.

Marrero said the first thing that struck her was the quality, “or lack of quality,” of the three swimsuits she ordered.
“These were literally see-through,” Marrero said. “You could see everything.”

She even held the fabric up to the camera, showing that the room was visible through the thin fabric.
Marrero tried on the clothes and wore a black spandex bodysuit underneath the bikinis to keep her modesty.

“I’m speechless. How is that supposed to work?” she asked, turning to show the camera the tight coverage.
The sheer fabric was the least of her worries—the cut of the swimsuit threatened to expose her completely.
If it wasn’t for her spandex layer underneath, “my right boob would literally be hanging out,” Marrero said of a swimsuit.
She emphasized the high-waisted briefs, adding, “Let’s not even talk about how much you have to grow to get into this thing.”

Marrero said the first two swimsuits she tried, which were solid yellow and orange, offered “no support at all” and completely exposed her chest and butt.
“There is no reporting,” she said. “It’s all out there for the world to see.”
She even called the orange monokini “the most sheer swimsuit I’ve ever bought.”
There was only one style that didn’t leave her feeling completely exposed: an ombre one-piece with a matching sarong.
Although this suit adequately covered her buttocks and chest, Marrero couldn’t imagine actually wearing the suit poolside.
“Can you wear this anywhere other than Instagram?” she asked.
In the comments, Marrero’s viewers expressed dismay that she spent money on the swimwear.
Some also criticized the pricing structure, particularly for the third outfit, which included an $85 swimsuit and a $40 cover-up.
“The sarong uses more fabric than the bathing suit, but costs half as much,” pointed out one viewer.

“These swimsuits are made just for Kylie,” wrote another.
“This is the most positive review I’ve ever seen,” said one commenter. “That means something.”
