Getting your nails done is supposed to be a pleasant experience, but things don’t always go as planned.
Nowadays, people can share their unfortunate nail salon experiences with millions of people on social media.
Angelina Holguin shared a now-viral TikTok video that sheds light on the horrific nail art she received.
The on-screen caption of Angelina’s video reads, “The nail artist said she can do ombré nails.”
She then announces that she paid $50 for the colorful set she was interested in.
Her clip includes a screenshot of the neon yellow ombré nails she wanted in a simple coffin shape.
At the end of the video, Angelina reveals the horrific nail art she got from the pro.
Instead of the clear base blending with the neon yellow tip the way ombré nail art is meant to be, the colors look completely divided.
The color was visibly brighter than the photo showing the manicure.
The shape of her acrylic nails doesn’t look entirely coffin-like, either.
Rather, the shape of Angelina’s nails looks wide, chunky and rectangular.
The caption for her video reads: “I cried. That’s why I’m doing my own nails now!”
The people in Angelina’s comments section don’t think she should have paid the $50 bill for the service.
One person wrote, “Did she use highlighter on it?!”
“She couldn’t even submit them?” asked someone else, “I think that would have looked a little better.”
One person questioned Angelina and wrote, “Why would you pay for that?”
Another person chimed in, saying: “I don’t care how nervous I get if I have to talk to someone. I don’t pay for that.”
