That’s what this mother started and she’s never looked back.

August is a talented gardener who decides to take a greener approach to his gardening.

Her chemical-free approach has resulted in a lush, whimsical outdoor space, she revealed her gardening secrets to Express.co.uk.

The gardening guru’s decision to steer clear of a traditional lawn has resulted in numerous benefits for both their garden and the local wildlife.

She explained: “Lawning can be time-consuming.

“Also, you need large amounts of water to get a lush green lawn,” she said.

“I’m more of a wild lawn type, letting weeds and flowers run wild and attracting pollinators to the garden.”

While their approach may sound chaotic and disorganized, the result is quite stunning.

The wild, meadow-like garden trend is one that’s been sweeping gardens across the country lately.

Avid gardeners who choose wildflowers and long grass reap many benefits, including an influx of bees and butterflies.

The trend known as “wildscaping” can be as dramatic as you like, you can let it take over your entire garden naturally, or plant wildflower seeds in your borders for a more curated effect.

With all the extra time August doesn’t have for lawn care, she’s able to grow some delicious veggies.

She said: “I’ve grown large sections of the lawn into a wildflower maze for the kids to run through and create memories.

“This is also a great place for wildlife to hide and take refuge.”

The professional previously explained how she could use her special technique to grow her pants.

“Last year I reduced my watering by 60 percent and couldn’t quite believe how my plants continue to thrive,” she revealed.

“It was a really great lesson to learn and that’s what I love most about gardening, it’s a constant learning curve.”
