Humidity persists for days as storms ease on Sydney’s fringes

“By the end of the week, the situation will be drier and humidity will be reduced, which will be a relief.”
Overnight temperatures are expected to remain high through Wednesday. The forecast for later in the week is still temperatures of around 31 degrees on Friday, but it should feel cooler as the easterly winds ease.
Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued on Sunday for parts of the Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, Hunter, Central Tablelands, Northern Tablelands and North West Slopes and Plains counties. More storms are possible on Monday and Tuesday.
