H&R block filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Square’s new name, “Unit” on Thursday.

Tax return service search to prevent Block from using the new name, said in a press release that the fintech company “will improperly capitalize on the goodwill and consumer trust that Block has nurtured since 1955.”

H&R Block says the renamed company competes directly with it in financial services, including through recently acquired of Tax Credit Karma for tax returns. It is alleged that the name will confuse consumers, especially given the duplicate services of the two companies.

“Today’s filing is an important effort to prevent consumer confusion and ensure competitors can’t capitalize on the reputation and trust we’ve built over six decades.” , H&R Block President and CEO Jeff Jones said in a statement.
