Troubleshooting
If you are not logged into Facebook and want to change your password, you must first recover your account.
To do this, go to the Find Your Account page, enter the email address or phone number associated with your account, and click Search. Then simply follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password using your Google Account, email address or phone number.
If you’re signed out of your account and don’t have access to the email address or phone number associated with that account, you can try using other email addresses or numbers that may be listed in your account. When entering your phone number, be sure to include your country code and omit plus signs or special characters.
If that doesn’t work, the next step is to contact your email service provider to see what they can do to help you recover your email account.
