Leeds United star Raphinha continues to wait Barcelona are said to be increasing their interest in him after Arsenal turned down an initial offer for the Brazilian.

The Gunners fell through with an opening bid to sign the former Rennes winger and Leeds out of hand rejected the offer.

The Yorkshire club value Raphinha at around £60m and sympathize with the winger’s desire to play European football.

But despite Arsenal’s offer and Chelsea’s interest, Marca claim Raphinha is waiting for Barcelona to confirm their interest.

The La Liga giants agreed personal terms with the Brazil international earlier this year but their financial situation means they have to sell before they can buy.

Barcelona are in talks with Manchester United for Frenkie de Jong with the Catalans holding out around £65m.

Barcelona are said to have reacted ‘calmly’ to Arsenal’s offer and feel that Raphinha wants to move to the Camp Nou.

But the Spaniards know they must join the bid for the winger sooner rather than later or risk losing him to either Arsenal or Chelsea.
