How many mirrors does a bathroom need?
For a homeowner, there seems to be no such thing as too many mirrors — not even in the bathroom.
A photo of the controversial bathroom was posted by the @pleasehatethesethings Instagram account.
“Biggest Inception fan ever,” wrote Dina, who runs the account.
The picture shows a bathroom in which the floor and ceiling are completely mirrored.
Mirrored panels are on either side of the door, behind the sink and toilet and above.
Curiously, the owner seemed to want a classic “mirror” look over the sink, adding a metallic circle to the fully mirrored wall.
Instagram commenters are confused and even disgusted by the design.
“I get sick just looking at this picture,” one wrote.
“Anyone else get a pounding headache from watching this?” asked another.
Another wondered what it would be like to get drunk in the bathroom.
Another said it must be particularly uncomfortable when you feel sick.
“Then you get dizzy and if you fall you break your damn teeth on the toilet,” they said.
Another described it as “the Versailles hall of bathroom mirrors,” while another added that it “embodies how I feel walking into a bed-bathtub and beyond.”
“Does anyone have to be the subject of so many mirrors of themselves pooping?” asked another.
