Here’s all the music you heard in Season 2 Episode 9

(WARNING: Spoilers for this week’s BMF episode are below.)
In episode nine of the second season of BMF, Meech and Terry are back in Atlanta and they are there for several reasons. With their Colombian connection, the duo are keen to open a shop in ATL along with the rest of BMF and the PA Boys. Although business is their priority, they also found some time for fun while traveling during the famous Freaknik Week. While Meech and Terry get the ball rolling to open a shop in Atlanta, thanks to Goldie’s help, it’s not without some unfortunate events. Meech and Terry’s good friend Ty is shot dead in a town shootout and B-Mickie almost kills Terry – and that’s only half of it.
The above events in the ninth episode of BMF season 2, entitled “High Treason,” are accompanied by songs that help emphasize the emotion behind each scene. You can find a list of them, as well as details about the scenes the recordings set to music.
The following recordings were provided thanks to the Starz Public Relations team.
Al Skratch x Fredro – “Get Her”
We hear this recording at the 0:30 mark as Terry, Meech, B-Mickie and others speed down the streets of Atlanta and sports cars are obviously enjoying themselves.
Fredro – “It’s not safe”
At the 2:02 mark, Meech takes off with Detective Bryant after essentially telling him to kick rocks. B-Mickie is excited about moving to Atlanta to start over, but despite Meech’s attempts to calm him down, he’s still scared of the unknown.
50 Cent – “Wish Me Luck” feat. Charlie Wilson
This is the BMF theme song. It’s set at the 3:00 mark in “Both Sides Of The Fence”. While only the voices of 50 Cent and Charlie Wilson can be heard at this moment, the song also features Snoop Dogg and Moneybagg Yo.
MCADE – “Bass Mechanics”
MCADE’s “Bass Mechanic” is heard at the 4:34 mark as Meech, Terry, B-MIckie and the BMF and PA boys arrive in Atlanta. Though there’s business to attend to, the crews start out with some fun at Freaknik.
Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock – “It Takes Two”
Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock icon It Takes Two plays at the 5:11 mark when the party starts. We see Meech dancing with two girls, Terry playing cards and everyone else having fun. A member of the PA Boys is overly aggressive towards a woman, forcing Meech and Sterling to demand his removal from the job they are in Atlanta for.
Aerin – “Don’t look back!”
We hear this track at the 12:13 mark as Meech and Terry arrive at Goldie’s house for the first time since they were last in Atlanta earlier this season. They meet with her to ask for her help setting up a business in Atlanta
Nyalah — “Show yourself”
At around 4:33 p.m., Meech and Terry arrive at Ty’s house. They meet his wife (played by Yung Miami) and propose raising a flag in Atlanta without stepping on Ty’s toes. Ty reluctantly agrees to help them set up a business in Atlanta. They also agree to stay for dinner.
Man Doe – “Shave Beat”
This instrumental plays at around 7:30 p.m. when Lucille is having dinner with Pastor Swift. She pokes fun at the fights she’s had with the men in her life (Charles, Meech, and Terry). Swift makes a move with Lucille, but she rejects him.
E. Thompkins – “Life Without You”
We hear this record around the 9:50 mark while Monique and Lamar make a series of cokes. Monique is still trying to capture Lamar and possibly kill him like she planned with Meech. Lamar grasps the basis of Monquiue’s plan, and things take a tragic turn.
Quann – “Break Beat 1”
At around 31:45, Meech, Terry and the BMF & PA Boys crew return to the streets of Atlanta where they see a man named Dice selling in the crowd. Meech and B-Mickie approach him and try to make a deal.
BChe x Bud – “Take My Life”
This song plays around 37:34 when Terry is in the car with a man he hired to kill B-Mickie. Meech and Terry tricked B-Mickie into believing they were going to Atlanta to set up shop for a hub he would be in charge of. The truth is that they both planned to have him killed.
Marlon and Osinachi – “A&T”
We hear this song at the 38:48 mark as BMF and the PA Boys stroll around Magic City for a night of fun. Meech is approached by a stripper who is in college trying to get her tuition paid. In the end, both get what they want.
Stephie – “Moon Braver”
At the 41:13 mark, Meech emerges from the back room of the strip club to meet with Stephanie, a real estate agent in Atlanta who Goldie has promised to introduce him to.
Anderson – “Brave”
We hear this song around the 41:45 mark when Meech and Terry’s meeting with Stephanie ends. They both tell her what houses they are looking for, and as Stephanie and Terry leave, Goldie tells Meech that the sick woman he saw in their house was her little sister, who has AIDS.
Don Cabán – “In Pursuit of Paper”
The episode ends with this record playing from about 48:26. “High Treason” ended with Meech telling Ty’s wife that he had been shot. She punches him and tells him to make sure whoever did this pays for their crimes. Meech also stops B-Mickie from shooting Terry.
