Harwich firefighter rescues stranded motorist after crash – Boston News, Weather, Sports

HARWICH, MASS. (WHDH) – A Harwich firefighter is credited with rescuing a woman from a vehicle after a single vehicle accident in Dennis, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
Slippery roads led to multiple accidents on Route 6 from Bass River to exit 82, according to firefighters.
Ambulance 74 was returning from an earlier call when the crew encountered an accident in the median that left the motorist stranded in a large puddle of water.
At that moment, Firefighter Andrew Riker helped the uninjured driver out of her vehicle.
