Harry was used with ex in paparazzi shot in Netflix trailer – but she’s cut off

A photo used in Meghan and Harry’s trailer to show the pair being pursued by the paparazzi was actually a photo of the prince with his ex-girlfriends.

In the new 60-second teaser trailer, Harry opens up about how he didn’t want “history to repeat itself” by opening up about how the press treated Meghan, which mirrored his mother.

But one snap used in the trailer is actually Prince Harry with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

One of the images they used in the first advert for their documentary showed a wall of photographers – later revealed it had nothing to do with Harry or Meghan.

Chelsy previously dated the prince from 2004 to 2011, attending some very significant royal events during that time – sparking speculation that she would be the one to marry him.

Born in Zimbabwe in 1985, Chelsy grew up on her multimillionaire father’s game reserve before later attending Cheltenham Ladies’ College in England.

She was studying law when she met Prince Harry, with the couple going back and forth from 2004 until the relationship ended in 2011.

While they were together, Chelsy attended events such as Prince Charles’ 60th birthday and a society wedding where she met the Queen.

However, she admitted after she and Prince Harry split that she was struggling with the pressure of dating a member of the royal family.

“It was so crowded,” she told the Times. “Crazy and scary and uncomfortable.

“I found it very difficult when I was bad. I couldn’t deal with it. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was awful.’

Prince Harry had previously acknowledged the pressure Chelsy was under, saying: “I can see how upset she is.

“My girlfriend is someone very special to me and yes, she’s been through some very difficult times.”

However, Chelsy confirmed that she remained on friendly terms with Harry, saying they would always be “good friends”.

Since splitting from Harry, Chelsy has traded the law for running her own jewelry company, Aya.

“It was so crowded,” she told the Times. “Crazy and scary and uncomfortable.

“I found it very difficult when I was bad. I couldn’t deal with it. I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was awful.’

Prince Harry had previously acknowledged the pressure Chelsy was under, saying: “I can see how upset she is.

“My girlfriend is someone very special to me and yes, she’s been through some very difficult times.”

However, Chelsy confirmed that she remained on friendly terms with Harry, saying they would always be “good friends”.

In the clip, Harry also talks about the “pain and suffering” of women marrying into the royal family.

He says: “It’s really hard to look back on it now and say, ‘What on earth happened?’

“There’s a family hierarchy, you know, there are leaks, but stories are also planted. It’s a dirty game.

“The pain and suffering of the women who marry into this institution, this binge eating. I was scared, I didn’t want history to repeat itself.

“No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.’

It comes after another photo used in the first trailer – again showing they were followed by the press – was actually taken at a Harry Potter premiere years before they met.

The picture shows a huge group of photographers reportedly fighting for space to take pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But the photo was actually taken on the red carpet at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two in London – which was not attended by royals.

Announced as a global Netflix event, the streaming giant announced that Volume I will be released on December 8th, while Volume II will air on December 15th.
