Guest accuses Holiday Inn of serving tainted orange juice

A guest at a Holiday Inn calls the hotel after allegedly serving rancid orange juice to guests.

In the video, which has been viewed more than 2.7 million times, TikTok user Daniel Wolfe (@the_wolfepack) was shown pouring a brownish-yellow liquid into a sink. After draining the liquid, solid pieces remained at the bottom of the sink; they seemed to be pieces of mush.

Wolfe claimed the liquid was tainted orange juice served at a Holiday Inn. He revealed that he repeatedly refilled the dark orange juice to prevent other visitors from drinking it.

“When the hotel serves you bad OJ. So you keep getting refills to throw it away so someone else doesn’t get sick,” he wrote in the video’s text overlay.

In the video’s caption, Wolfe wrote, “The hotel didn’t seem to care that it was brown and tasted sour.”

The Daily Dot reached out to Wolfe via comment on the video, as other means of contact could not be made, and to Holiday Inn via email. This story will be updated with any comments they make.

@the_wolfepack I’m not sure if that’s pee or orange juice, but it was brownish-yellow. @Holiday Inn didn’t seem to care that it was brown and tasted sour. #spoiled #gross #hotel #badfood #fyp #blowthisup ♬ How do you like that – BLACKPINK

In the comments section, viewers encouraged Wolfe to call the local health department or file a report.

“Call your local health department they will be interested in why a hotel is serving brown orange juice,” wrote one commenter.

“Call the health department as they wouldn’t do anything about it,” agreed another. “That is sick.”

“I would have called the health department and texted them a picture,” repeated a third.

Other users were just disgusted by what they saw.

“It looks like someone had a rough night on the toilet and was scooping [it] out of the toilet,” wrote one commenter.

“As a hotel employee working for breakfast, I apologize for this unacceptable quality,” commented another.

A commenter provided an explanation as to why the orange juice might have gone bad.

“Yo, which I used to work at [the] kitchen [at a] hotel,” they wrote. “Was it cold? It literally looks like the juicer didn’t turn on/chill the juice properly. Spoiled for sure!”
