previously on Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Episode 8, Teddy makes a challenging decision. Meanwhile, Maggie and Winston don’t speak to each other, and Link leans on Jo for emotional support as he prepares for surgery on a well-known athlete. Simone and Lucas are surprised by an unexpected visitor.

At Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Episode 9, Mika, Lucas and Simone plan a party at their new house while Jules and Blue are stuck at Gray Sloan on the night shift. However, things don’t go as planned for either of them.
Blue appears to be tailing Maggie in this episode, and it looks like Jules is about to get hooked as well. The preview shows how hairy things get when her patient starts convulsing under Jules’ supervision.
Meanwhile, at the house party, there is tension between Simone and Lucas. As we saw at the end of last week’s episode, Simone’s ex-fiancé Trey has arrived in Seattle in what appears to be an attempt to rekindle their relationship. However, Trey is unaware of Lucas and Simone’s budding relationship. Will he find out in this episode? How awkward does the party get when Lucas and Trey are together? What does Lucas think about Simone not immediately telling Trey who he was? Because it’s so new? Regardless, I’m excited to learn a little more about Trey and his relationship with Simone, as we only got glimpses of Simone’s past as she’s still a new character.
It looks like Link and Jo will join forces in this episode as well to take care of a pregnant patient. What role will Link play in helping the patient? Jo and Link’s relationship has been a back and forth and still seems to be in a “will they or won’t they” stage, at least to me. Especially after last week’s episode when Link tried to kiss Jo after losing the Seattle Seahawks player.
How does this loss affect Link in this episode? Will he still have to listen to rumors about the murder of one of Seattle’s football stars? And how will the relationship between him and Jo be after this kiss attempt? Will it be embarrassing, or will they be able to brush it off. I’m still at a stage where I can’t tell if I want them to happen or not. Who knows, maybe this episode will convince me.
